Copy paste macro
Wed Apr 08, 2020 6:03 am
Hello. Is there possibly a way to run a macro or do something else that would cause PowerPoint to copy all the contents of a slide (images, shapes etc) and paste them into another slide mid presentation?

Hi HelloGovna - welcome to the forum!
Could you provide a little more information on the context of your issue and what you are looking to achieve please? It might help identify a solution for you.
I'm sure it would be too simple to suggest that you transition onto a duplicate slide with the contents animated to appear after a short delay - so it looks like they have been copied and pasted.

Not quite sure if what you're asking is if you want to do it while the presentation is live?
If you're doing live... ehh, you can jump to a different presentation from your current one (i can't remember if you have to name the presenatations though)
Presentation.slideshowwindow(NUMBER).view.gotoSlide [slide name/number]
(I think it's just presentation)
If you're just moving one slide to another during non-presentation -
copy the slide, go to the second presentation - right click - paste - Keep Source Formatting.
