NOTE FOR ENGLISH-SPEAKING PEOPLE: THOSE GAMES USE SPANISH LANGUAGE, TRANSLATING CONTENT IN THE GAMES IS SUGGESTED.

Hello, members and people viewing PowerPoint Creative, this is my first time posting here.
Most of the time I will be posting here in favor of my team, which I develop PowerPoint games with.
I come to showcase our first two PowerPoint games: Plaga Ponzoña & Gatopán.

Originally released on 6 May 2022, Plaga Ponzoña (or Toxic Pest) is a simple game where you click on flies so a frog can eat them, that sums up the game. A very few obstacles like green-eyed flies that you can't click (or it's game over) will slowly appear in the 5 levels this game contains.

Originally released on 10 June 2022, Gatopán (or Breadcat) is a game where the travelling breadcat has to dodge space rocks. To do this, you have to click arrow-shaped buttons that will appear in-game. There are also enemies that will try to get to you, click on them to destroy them. There is also a boss fight in the final level, you will have to use all the previous stuff: dodge things & click on enemies. Like the previous game, this one is packed with 5 levels and the boss stage.

Hope you enjoy the games, any review or tip on them is appreciated. You can download the games here:

Am playing with a touchpad because me mouse ran out of battery, deal with me.

Plaga Ponzona really makes you feel like a pet owner of a fly-allergic frog stranded in the middle of a jungle with said allergic frog. I saw some purple ring, six-pointed golden star, and a nightmarish trashbag flying around. I don't really know what their purpose was, as I can't even hit them with my touchpad whilst fending off from the vicious supersonic-speed flies that are trying to bite my little frog. (Wait no actually, I managed to click the purple ring and it gave me the game over screen(?) so there's that)(no, I didn't translate the texts at all, I just played)

Gatopan is a side-scrolling avoid-or-click-the-enemy type of game, it reminds me of Mibo's Toss. I can't really review this one just yet because it seems to rely on quick-reflexes, something that touchpad doesn't really excels at. So I'll come back to this review later, when I finally got me mouse set up proper.

Gotta appreciate those pixelated graphics though, they really add up to the atmosphere. I should probably try doing that particular style in my next game, I'd assume they were made in Paint.exe? The particular aliasing reminds me of it, so I'd guess that were the case.

Thanks, Hypela. As for the ring, star & bag, they are meant to be trash (This slightly explains why the flies are like that). Didn't really want to explain that to keep it a surprise. About the graphics, they were indeed made in MS Paint, I didn't want to install a more professional tool or something like that to make the games' art.

We also hope you enjoy "Gatopán" when you can!

I like them both very much!

Well done.

I have been away for a few days and have only just got around to playing these two games.

In both games I really liked the pixelated artwork which matched the nature of the games brilliantly.

I did reasonably well in the Plaga Ponzoña game, getting through the levels until I clicked on a green-eyed mozzie.

I had trouble with the speed of Gatopán however and my reactions were not quick enough to progress very far at all. I managed to click on the first arrow by remembering where to place the cursor. This was as far as I could get. I needed a bit more time to react. I like the concept of the game but it was too fast for me.

Hi. I'd really like to download and try these games but both of these links are not working.

https://estudioskotsbek.github.io/juegos-en-powerpoint/plaga-ponzo%C3%B1a/plagaponzo%C3%B1a.ppsx
https://estudioskotsbek.github.io/juegos-en-powerpoint/gatop%C3%A1n/gatop%C3%A1n.ppsx

and if you don't mind, would it be ok to ask for the pptx format. these games will be great for classroom use.

Hello, I don't understand why the links aren't working for you. Note that the games contain Spanish text, so you might want to use the English instructions I wrote in the original post. Thanks a lot, Diéresis. I appreciate it.

I am also surprised that these new links you've given are working and I keep getting 404 Error on the older links.

I liked your games and I will probably use them in my classes.

Thanks again.
