I just stumbled onto this. This implementation is very complex, but surprisingly it runs incredibly smoothly. It's very impressive.

That's exactly the code I used inĀ John's Chess 'n Checkers (Droughts) revamped

Is it smooth? Check it out for yourself

No it's not. Your program is very slow and laggy, while the one he makes is incredibly smooth

It's exactly HIS code I used for John's game from the very same page you linked to the Forum

It becomes laggy with the increase in the amount of objects linked to the same macro. A chess setup has 32 objects and checkers 50% more - 48 objects. As Rusnak has repeated many times - PowerPoint isn't intended for the purposes we put it through.

No need to get upset. I was wrong. My apologies. Clearly there are ways to optimize the code. I have a feeling that having it all run through the same scripts at once is part of the issue (especially as the method used makes things super laggy because of the simple fact that it's attempting to run it all on every frame).

It's awesome that stuff like this exists from other people we've never spoken to in the community. I've reached out to them to see if we can get them to join PPC or my Discord. Definitely want to pick this guy's brain. Clearly super smart.
