PowerPoint for Special Occasions

One of the things I like to do with PowerPoint is to make and send personalised messages to people on special occasions. Here's one I made over the last day or so to send to a friend who is moving on to a new job.

People really seem to appreciate that you have produced something special and unique just for them. With basic animations and triggers you can make something pretty special.

One tip to bear in mind when doing this kind of thing is to type your text into text boxes, choose the font and font size (or WordArt) that you want then 'Cut' and 'Paste as Picture' back onto the page. Your text will then remain in the correct font rather than risk MS Office changing it if your recipient's PC does not have that particular font on its system. It will also be much more adjustable in terms of height and width as well as subject to further adjustmants via the 'Pictures > Format' tab & menus.
