As the person who usually sets the challenges for this forum, there was a bit of role reversal in this area recently.
On the first day of 2018 I received a challenge from rusnakcreative to make some kind of firework animation. I watched the London fireworks on New Year's eve and used the same background of the London Eye for my new production. It started out as an animation, but then turned into something more like a game where you click on buttons to release the fireworks. In effect, as the player, you produce your own firework display. It's also got music and sound effects which last for around 5 minutes.
It's taken 5 days to get to this version. It's the kind of thing that you could make more of as new ideas for making fireworks come through. There's some more fine tuning I could probably do, but this version will do for the time being.
It's awkward to get it from online PowerPoint, so here's a link to my website where you can download PPTX / PPSX versions:

There's a crazy amount of animation here, enough that the file noticeably lags when I first load it on my computer.
For this to be finished in five days...I have no words.

Wow! That is incredible! And in just five days too! Man, you really outdid yourself!
I totes love the feeling I get from the ambience and music. It's like a teen spirit vibe that just makes me wanna talk, sing, dance, and drink punch all night!
I know that it wasn't fun for everyone, but thanks for bringing back my fond high school memories! I might even send a link to my girlfriend (whom just so happens to have been my high school sweetheart) so I can share the joy with her!
