My First Games

We all have to start somewhere as they say. If you are new to making games on PowerPoint then chances are you will start off with simple games and gradually build up to more and more ambitious projects as your knowledge of the PowerPoint tools and your skills in using them grow.
Here are links to the first two games I made back in the early naughties. A maze game and a shooting game. They still took quite a lot of time and effort (and trial and error) to make because I was new to making them. Here they are:
Save Tiddles
Shoot the Spaceships

I like playing people's first games. It marks the beginning of a fulfilling journey, one that reminds us how far we've come. Yours is no exception.
Save Tiddles
Save Tiddles by rescuing the cat through a canyon mouse maze. But can you really save Tiddles?
You get one minute to reach Tiddles, which I thought was a very appropriate time limit. I barely reached Tiddles within a second or two to spare, and the applause blessed my speakers.
"YAY TIDDLES!" I grinned, only to realize the joke was on me. The rigid 10 tons of weight fell down anyway, and now both Tiddles and my cursor rest in peace.
Shoot the Spaceships
Nice use of the clouds as a hiding place for those three spaceships! On a side note, who the HECK is controlling these spaceships?! The way they do all those loop de loops while making sharp falls...they deserve to appear in stunt shows, not to get shot at!

Tiddles isn't supposed to get crushed if you get to the end, but what the heck - it's only a cute fluffy kitten. Hope the blood mopped up ok.
As for the spaceships, they're supposed to be flying in straight lines - the pilots are drunk as skunks!
