Socc O'War - Does it work??!!

This is a first for me....a game that's played entirely in PPTX 'Presentation' mode rather than PPSX 'Show' mode. It only took an hour or so to put together.
It's a two-player game where both players need to have a mouse connected to the same computer. (The mice don't have to be independent though, so no additional software needed - just two mice).
The idea is that both players keep the ball selected and try to move it into the opposing player's goal. With both players trying to push the ball forward it's a bit like a reverse tug o'war (hence the title).
The thing is, I've played it with a mouse in each hand by myself, but I'm not able to test it yet with another player - so can you help?!
I'd be really interested to find out how it plays with two players. Does it work? Is it fun?
I haven't produced any rules yet and I'm not sure that it needs very many. Any suggestions welcome.
Here's a screenshot:
As it's in PPTX mode, everything has to be done manually, like typing in the scores which are in text boxes, and setting a playing time/alarm for two halves (if you want to swap ends at half-time and move on to the second slide).
I'd really appreciate any thoughts anyone might have.

Has anyone downloaded and played this as a 2-player game yet?
I'd still be really keen to know if it works or not.
