Press your luck error

Getting this error when trying to run Press Your Luck.

Just for info, I just opened this game and it worked ok.

What version of PPT are you using? Are you operating off a Mac by any chance?

It looks like there's some part of the code I use that doesn't play nice with whichever version you have, unfortunately. That is very odd to see it say that, usually when it doesn't work, it just doesn't work and you have to try to figure out why not. Thank you for sharing the error message!

Nope, Windows 10, Office 2013 64 bit.  I'll apply all the updates and see if that solves it.

I hope the updates work for you! Otherwise, it'll take me a while to figure out which code isn't playing nice and then how to rewrite it so that it does.

Nope, updates didn't fix it.

I can open it, then when I click SlideShow it opens.  As soon as I try changing the name of a player I get that error.  Then when I click play game, I get the board but clicking anything doesn't do anything.  If I try it without changing a name it just does nothing when I click anything.

Thank you for letting me know more details about this error. I'll take a look at it as soon as I have free time.

As for the game play itself, have you selected a player and then the big board button?

Once I click Play Game and it takes me to the board, clicking does nothing.  I see the cursor change but there is no response no matter what order I click anything.  I tried clicking Player 1 and then clicking the button, nothing.  Nothing even happens when I click Player 1, no ***WORD*REMOVED*DUE*TO*VIOLATION*OF*PPC*RULES*** that lets me know anything has happened.

I can take a "demo video" if you wish, of we can use TeamViewer if it's something you want to explore.  I don't need the game, we use them for corporate team building events so it would be nice to have but I'm in no rush.  I like your work and am willing to lend a hand to help you fix it in any way I can.

I just took a look at my most recent file and didn't run into any issues. I also realized that I didn't upload my most recent file on my site. Try downloading version 3.2 to see if that might possibly have fixed your issue?
