THE CAVERNS OF HORYD HOUSE - A new 'Big Game'

A few people have asked if I would be making any more 'big' games like ESCAPE FROM HORYD HOUSE

Well, I eventually got around to doing one. It has taken three months to make. There are references back to the original game here and there for those who have see/played it. Both videos share a lot of the same music too.

This is a longer and darker game than 'Escape', with 15 sub-games rather than 9. This one has elements of code-breaking that 'Escape' does not. It also uses a lot more third-party graphics from various sources and sounds from the fabulous freesound.org.

'Caverns' won't be available to download until mid-March 2019, and the You Tube video won't be made public until then either.

You will see the graphics of the candle flame and hourglass in use. (I posted a separate little video of them to the forum here)

Here's the You Tube video of 'Caverns'. This is more about the nature of each of the sub-games than a straight video of it being played. You shouldn't get any blatant hints on making the best moves from this video. Nor will you see the consequences of selecting the 'Game Over' door. (It still makes me jump - and I know what's coming!)
